If I had a visual tool for learning orbits basics...this is what I thought when, during the endless studying session for the exam preparation of the astrodynamics course, I became confusing with all of those orbital parameters that flown in my (tired) mind. Once learned the basis of the AGI Engine technology (and, of course, the basis of astrodynamics :) ...) I tried in crating a specific tool for teachers that teach this matter to dummies or for students that need some aid in preparing their exams.

AstroDyn comes with a control panel where the user can change any of the orbital parameter and/or the propagator (two body or J2) and 2D and 3D windows for graphical display of the propagated orbit. Moreover, some specialized orbits are stored into it for rapid display and comparison.

To run properly, STK Pro Edition license is required (this is normally get as commercial license but it is also distributed for free in the framework of AGI Educational Alliance)

Here you can download the AstroDyn V2.0 installation file, that you can use for free (.chm help file will be available soon). Please leave a feedback here about your experience with this tool. Thank you for using and enjoy!
