Many projects I followed were related in some way to the needs of visually or electronically cover some areas in order to maintain the situational awareness over them. The domain where I mainly spent developing effort is the maritime one, where the capability of transmitting  position data from ships is limited by the reduced field of view that they have and a space-based solution to this limitation is being investigated through the utilization of STK Engine API together with other .NET based technologies, such as web services, SQL databases and more. The net result is normally a windows application that is able to make performances analysis and display the relevant result with easy to use interfaces that hide the complexity to the user by executing repetitive tasks in an automatic manner.
